Winter is in full swing. Keep
your car running properly and safely by following the
Car Care Council's
list of recommended tasks to help you have a safe winter
driving season, including:
- Keeping your gas task at least
half full to prevent freezing
- Replacing wiper blades and
consider snow blades if weather dictates
- Checking the coolant
(antifreeze). It should be flushed and changed every two
years in most vehicles
- Checking tire tread depth and
pressure. Consider winter tires if snow and ice are a
problem.
